Plano Texas

The DC Queens organization was invited to meet the players at the University of North Texas and tour their facilities - nice!  After the tour, they watched the Mean Green in action.  After the game (and hotdogs), the UNT players signed autographs and visited with the girls.  It was a unanimous decision by the players that they truly appreciated and enjoyed the opportunity.  Future plans include Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas.

Coach Jon commented that the tours will give the girls an opportunity to see what they are striving to accomplish - college scholarship paid for by playing basketball.

DC Queens is a 501.c.3 (nonprofit) organization focused on furthering girls and young ladies through basketball.  The organization has been a leader in growing young girls in North Dallas and Fort Worth for almost 10 years.
